When a child has clean water at home and school, they don't get sick, they don't miss school, they don't carry water for hours instead of learning. Clean water is the lever beneath education, health, and economic mobility.
The Summerville Evening Rotary Club partners with Rotary International and District 7770 on global grants to fund wells, treatment systems, sanitation infrastructure, and hygiene education in communities that need them.
Locally, we've also installed rain gardens and supported watershed work — clean water starts at home, too.

Rotary global grants are matched at the district, RI, and partner level — a local dollar can become five or more by the time it lands in a well or treatment plant abroad.
