In 1985, polio paralyzed more than 350,000 children in 125 countries every year. Today, wild polio circulates in only a handful of places — and the world is closer than ever to finishing the job.
Since launching PolioPlus in 1985, Rotary and our partners have helped immunize more than three billion children. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation matches Rotary funds 2-to-1 — every dollar we raise becomes three on the ground.
