For some Summerville kids, school meals are the only reliable meals they get. Backpack Buddies fills that gap — quietly sliding a weekend's worth of shelf-stable food into their backpacks before the bell rings on Friday afternoon.
Our club packs and funds bags for partner schools in the Dorchester District 2 (DD2) area in partnership with local pantries and school counselors. No paperwork. No stigma. Just a tap on the shoulder and a heavier bag.
